“I’m in love with the opening on this one. I have to imagine that chewing on spruce or Douglas fir leaves, then exhaling and that scent mixing with the supercooled minty air might produce something that smells like the initial sprays. I know it’s been said but this really has a photorealistic forest feel with a freshness in the dry down that makes it easy to wear even in TX right now. I can only imagine this will really shine in the colder temps too. The earthy base really rounds this out, to ensure that the name really fits the frag. Consistently picking my wrist up for more sniffs. Definitely looking forward to the first release and more to come from Statik!"

“Received a completely unexpected and exciting surprise in the mail today from Chris. Crazy to think I am sampling Into the Wild as we speak. It is genuinely very impressive, nuanced and masterfully blended. Just as Chris described you can truly sense the tonal shifts in the accords and they are evocative of the story he is trying to tell. It manages to be fresh and clean while also being dense and outdoorsy. It has a somewhat minty cool freshness to it along with herbaceous piney woodiness. Really paints a picture of a snow covered pine forest at night. For me this is unique, impressive, and full bottle worthy!”
